How To Build Or Update A Simple Coffee Cart

A coffee cart should be on anyone’s list of must-have things, that’s how much you’ll enjoy having one once you’re done building it. We say that because coffee carts are not meant to be complicated but rather simple and practical but, at the same time, they can be styled in so many interesting ways that you just can’t resist customizing your own. That being said, a coffee cart can easily be the type of thing you build yourself and have fun while doing it.

You can make one just like it and for that you’ll need a drill, short screws, 3 pieces of wood for the shelves, 4 swivel casters, 4 12” pipes and 4 10” pipes as well as 16 flanges and some black spray paint.

There’s a tutorial for a similar project on Freshmommyblog and it requires pretty much the same materials mentioned above. Once you have everything you need, you can start putting everything together. Cut the boards to the desired length, sand them on al edges and then stain them and let them dry. While this happens you can go ahead and wash the pipes and then attach them to the flanges. Don’t forget that you’ll also need pipes for the cart handle. At the end, spray paint your new coffee cart.
